Movie: Showdown In Little Tokyo

"Showdown in Little Tokyo," is a violent but spiritless martial-arts movie about Japanese gangsters who attempt to muscle in on the Los Angeles drug trade.
To the extent that the movie equates the gangsters' efforts with those of legitimate Japanese investors in this country, "Showdown in Little Tokyo" might qualify as Japan-bashing.
Dolph Lundgren, a large man with a small-screen personality, and Brandon Lee, as the son of an American father and Japanese mother, play the policemen who kick, sock and break Asian necks on behalf of justice. The body count is huge.
"Showdown in Little Tokyo," which has been rated R (under 17 requires accompanying parent or adult guardian), includes a lot of blood, mayhem, vulgar language and nudity.
